Water leak? Do this first.
Shut off the water
Turn off your home's main water shutoff valve to stop the damage. If water is near outlets or the panel, turn off that breaker.
Call the Town if it's at the street
Town water and sewer repairs: 910-201-8007 (business hours) or 910-278-5595 (after hours). If the problem turns out to be on your side, the Town may charge a $125 service fee. The Town doesn't publish exactly where its side ends, so describe what you see when you call.
